INTRO TO ME

Welcome to my first blog!

I thought it might be fun to start blogging about my journey in art as a record for myself but also for the people that might want to listen. So if you feel like joining along and reading about my life, thank you and I appreciate you dearly.

I am a 26 year old female living in England that works 40 hours a week at a full time job. That may sound boring but I actually have a really fun job working in an independent art gallery, Fisherton Mill. I started the job in 2021 after leaving my office job as a pension administrator when I realised I was too creative to be sat behind a computer screen (which is ironic while now writing on one).

I have been interested in art having studied it at school then college but always painted for fun or as gifts for friends. It wasn’t until I started working there that I realised I would love to be in a position that I could sell my work in a store or have my work out in the world without being a well known and already successful artist. This was something I could achieve if I put work into it and here I am giving it my best shot.
